Hey all,
It has not escaped my notice that i haven't posted an entry in several months. This has been largely due to the lack of any noteworthy events and experiences. The last two weeks, however, have been jam-packed with photo goodness.
I am the proud owner of a new Canon 40D and Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6L lens, which has already proven its superiority over my old gear. I had the pleasure of taking this new equipment with me to the World Series of Birding in Cape May, New Jersey a few days ago, where i was competing with a college team representing the North Branch Nature Center in Vermont. We counted 156 species in 24 hours, including some great species that aren't found back at home. I'll be posting photos over the next week or so, so stay tuned!
